Dr. Leslie Ellen Gordon, MD

Needs human touch; specially with children.

Dr. Gordon takes her time with the patient, gives careful explanations about causes and treatment, makes sure your primary care physician is kept up to date with what is going on with your eye care. She very easygoing and also speaks Spansh. She's the greatest eye doctor, and I couldn't be any more satisfied that she is the one taking care of my diabetic eyes!

I cannot tell you much about this doctor because my encounter with her staff while trying to make an appointment was so alarming I decided to end the call. I had recieved her/his name from Anthem Blue Cross. I was ready with my union insurance card. When I was switched over to the appointment person I had to repeat everything I said twice. The individual said she had never heard of Anthem Blue cross or my union (Screen Actors Guild). Through the course of this interrogation unlike any I had ever encountered in the 46 years I have been making medical appointments I felt the person was more interested in turning me away than getting me in. This is a predominantly minority neighborhood that I recently moved into,and I notice a number of businesses treat potential customers in this imperious preemptory maqnner. I decided any doctor who would have such employees interact with the public wasn' t someone I wanted near my eye.
