Dr. Leslie Ann Johnson, MD

I requested a reasonable accomodation letter for my companion animal for housing and Dr HJohnson refused to provide it. I was surprised because every other doctor that I've requested this from in the past 30 years has provided it.

No passion. Poor communication.

Dr.Johnson is a very supportive snd direct physician. She has extensive knowledge of all her patients. Dr.Johnson is quite talented and has a good sense of humor. She works well with other doctors and is a true asset to her team. She demonstrates improvement in many areas. Thank you for your time.

Rolled eyes at first visit because I had been diagnosed by a Holistic doctor. Asked me to do a HIV and Hep. C blood tests "because the government is asking them to get these tests done". Of course came back negative because I have been married 37 years. Cost of those being $160.00 after insurance, to me. Note: I asked other doctors and they said they have never heard of this "government request". She refused allow me a simple blood test that I wanted just to be sure it was accurate. It was for a second opinion of Holistic results. (which I have since had done by another doctor and it was accurate). I was very disappointed as I had heard very good things about her. To sum it up, she has her own opinion on things, doesn't care what you say or want, she will do what she wants and to heck with you, your financial costs, or your requests.

Dr. Johnson is always professional. She and her staff follow up, and is always honest and explains her diagnosis and lets me put my 2 cents worth in. I had Dr. S. for decades as my HIV doctor, and when he retired I was lucky to find Dr. Johnson.

When I had to switch Dr.s a few years ago I had a choice of Dr.s and decided to stay at the same clinic. I was unsure about having a female Dr. but I am so glad that I chose Dr. Johnson. I would and have recommended her to relatives and friends.

She was awful. I went in to establish care, and walked out feeling like I had mare problems than I went in for. Not compassionate for real problems, and she literally interupted me, looked at her watch and said "I have to leave now, my dog has a hair appointment" Totally rude, unprofessional, and lacked manneers. Also, she has a facial expression for every issue- as if I was stating a problem that had never been brought up before in a Dr's office- my inability to get sleep due to accute stress somehow turned into me needing antidepressants - what?? Horrible.

Dr. Johnson is one of the BEST HIV specialist, her amazing knowledge of the most current treatments and drug therapies has helped me to achieve optimum health. My previous doctor was not addressing my high cholesterol and blood pressure issues and had me on outdated HIV drugs.I have been HIV Positive for 26 years.I will be turning 50 this month and it's comforting to know I will be around for many more under her care.I so appreciate her caring, high energy and positive attitude. She brings a fresh, young style to her patient interaction, I can truly feel her intention and concern for my optimum health. She is an HIV warrior, and iron fist in a velvet glove. I look forward to each visit and she keeps me on my toes when it comes to keeping current on my labs and medication regimen. I know I am getting the best treatment available and for that I am truly grateful.
