Leslie S. Kean, MD, PhD

Dr. Leslie Kean brings 27 years of experience as an oncologist specializing in cancer care. She earned her medical degree and PhD from Emory University, where she also completed her residency in 2003. Dr. Kean furthered her training with a fellowship at the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service at Emory University School of Medicine, completing her specialized training in 2005. She holds board certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics and speaks English.

Dr. Kean practices at UW Medical Center Montlake and sees patients in Boston, Massachusetts. Her expertise includes treating brain tumors in children and primary brain cancer. She also manages complex cases involving respiratory failure. Dr. Kean performs comprehensive blood counts to monitor patient health and conducts immunology testing to assess immune system function. She also provides Rh antibody screening for patients who need this specialized blood work.
