Excellent care

Dr Kidd was the doctor on call when it was time to deliver my daughter. As soon as I got to the hospital, this being my first child, I was petrified. Once I knew that my doctor would be Dr. Kidd, I was instantly relieved and just knowing that she would be the one to deliver my daughter made me feel completely unafraid. She was great during the whole labor process and when it came time to deliver she was wonderful, kept the mood light, helped me through and safely delivered my daughter. She came to check on me often and at both my postpartum appt's was great, more like visiting an old friend.

I was recommended to Dr. Kidd after being new to the area and going to the ER for a miscarriage. I went to see her the next day...after they squeezed me in. She was very understanding and scheduled an appointment for two weeks later. That visit went just as well and she spent 25 minutes with me during my annual and check-up. She even called me with lab results the day she was leaving for vacation. Excellent doctor. I will be going back to her.

Dr Kidd is a very caring and patient doctor. I have seen her for years and have never been disappointed with her or her staff. Very attentive to my concerns.

Its as simple as this, I went to Dr. Kidd for the first time yesterday (had to wait for the appointment for 2 months), waited in her shabby waiting room for an hour and forty five minutes, went back to the exam room, then she came in and talked to me for a grand total of five minutes (I couldnt get a word in edgewise since she seemed intent on cutting me off at everything I said) before giving me a PapSmear (I couldn't even tell if she wore gloves, which kind of makes me nauseous), then she left me in the exam room- FOR 20 MINUTES. I stuck my head out the door to see where Dr. Kidd had gone and heard her laughing and chatting with a patient in another exam room! I called my mother who was waiting in the lobby for me and told her I was going to just walk out, she said fine and proceeded to give the receptionist the third degree while I made my way to the lobby- I ran into the elusive Dr. Kidd who was coming out of the exam room she had been socializing in. I told her I was walking out… since I waited an hour and 45 minutes for a 5 minute consultation, a five minute exam, and than i had been waiting 20 more minutes while she had happy hour in the next room. After all of this, she proceeded to LIE to me, saying she was "faxing my medical information" in the office- when I had just heard her and seen her in and out of the next exam room! I promptly told her I would be finding another doctor, and rather than apologizing profusely like most doctors would in that situation, she simply said "Ok" and walked past me! I met my mom in the lobby and the receptionist, having heard of the situation from my mother, promptly apologized and let me know I did not have to pay for my visit- the ONLY good thing to happen the entire morning. Appointment time? 10:30am. When did I get out of there? 12:45pm.

My daughter booked an appointment with this doctor months in advance, and went for her first appointment only to be left in the waiting room for over an hour before she was taken back to the exam room to wait another 30 minutes, then the doctor saw her for five minutes and disappeared to another room to see a patient who had a later appt. than my daughter. Although the appointment wasn't completed, after two hours my daughter expressed her dismay to the doctor and decided to leave the appointment. The doctor didn't even apologize for making her wait so long. This doctor is very rude and unprofessional, and I would not recommend her services.
