Dr. Leslie Peterson Stone, MD

Leslie delivered both of my sons, and has continued to be both their pediatrician, and my PCP. I wouldn't have a baby under anyone elses care. I've never felt rushed, and I very much appreciate her more natural approach to things first. She puts me at ease when concerned, and encourages me when necessary. Wait times can be rather long at times, but I feel they are worth it for her care. If I don't want to feel rushed when she's with us, why would I expect her to rush someone else to get to me? I've always found her staff to be friendly, and they know us when we walk in the door. I really love having Leslie and our families one stop shop for health care.

I went to Dr. Leslie Stone because she was highly recommended by an amazing midwife I know and respect. I was advised from the beginning the administrative staff were known for being short with patients and not very professional but I was hoping for an amazing experience with Dr. Stone. The staff is as I was warned very discourteous but I was very surprised starting with our first visit that my husband and I felt like we were being judged and looked down upon. Our hopes were that as we got to know Dr. Stone this would change but unfortunately it did not. In addition to her poor bedside manner every visit she would ask the same questions over and over like it was our first visit. She never once made us feel like she had any interest in getting to know her patients or at the very minimum she had reviewed my chart prior to entering the room. As a medical professional chosen to be involved in one of the most special times in a persons life (pregnancy and child birth) I would have… expected some sense that she cared about me as a patient. Overall this office operates in a very unprofessional manner from the front staff, excessive wait times, to the Dr. herself. In my time with her as a patient I got the feeling she has a little knowledge about a lot of things but I did not find she knew any single area of her field well. Topics were lightly touched on without the statistics or research to back up her recomendations. I LOVE and respect she is one of a few doctors that will do a V-back in the valley. My recommendation to a future client of Dr. Stone is be sure she stops and listens your questions and responds in a way you are sure she heard you. Pregnancy and childbirth can be overwhelming at times and as a patient you deserve a practitioner that will hear you and include you in the decisions related to your care.

We love Dr. Stone and her whole office. She has delivered both of our sons and I have had the best experience. The office is friendly and professional and always make us feel taken care of. We travel over an hour to continue taking our kids there.

Claimed ignorance of a common procedure - suspect she just didn't want to do it. Bragged about not having a television (apropos of nothing). Condescending manner. Wait time was consistently over an hour past appointment. No longer my PCP.

I requested an appointment with dr leslie stone at her ashland office, they took all my info and even calculated my due date and said they would get back to me to schedule an appointment. They were nice on the phone so i expected a call from them, i was 5 weeks pregnant and they saw me before when i had a misscarriage. I am 10 weeks now and i havent heard from them, i decided to go with someone else. If they are like this for an initial appointment i dont want to know how they are when i have my baby.... They need to be more responsive and organized. Also previously when i had a miscarriage i never even saw dr stone, only her assistant.
