Dr. Lester Frederick Shalloway, MD

Dr Shallaway took 14 days to reveal my sons ultrasound and I to call numerous times prior to the 14 days. I will never see him again. He didn’t listen to any of my complaints just continued to speak about himself. He even went as far as saying if I don’t get back to you ...you may need to hit me with a bat!!! He actually said it twice during the exam. Really???

Dr Shalloway is a very good doctor. He is exceptionally caring, listens well, is accurate in his diagnosis, knowledgeable and has always proposed treatments that have made my overall health better and not hinder it in any way with needless tests, medications or procedures. When necessary, he has referred me to specialists that I have found to be the best - top notch -His referrals have been outstanding and above all, he is a KIND person - not something that you will always necessarily encounter. I've been a patient at this office and of Dr Shalloway for years. I am happy with the quality of care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shalloway for many year and many locations and he used to be very thorough and excellent at diagnosis, but about nine years ago he became no longer thorough, didn't pay any attention When I was hospitalized though he was even listed as my primary. In the past he would always call if he could not make rounds where I was. He used to be very caring, but he started to seem like he is just going through the motions and not treating me as a patient whose medical history he knows for many years. It is very tough to be a doctor these days and maybe this once great doctor just got worn out with what are surely ever increasing challenges of practicing medicine.
