Dr. Lester Edward Stine JR., MD

Dr. Stine did my first colonoscopy. Needless to say, the concept alone can be stressful. He was informative and nice. The procedure wasn’t embarrassing or awkward. They put you on a gown, then under a nice warm blanket. When they wheel you in for your procedure, they administer a Twilight sedative. Next thing you know you are waking up and they are done. The Dr. informed me of what was found and that I would get paperwork in a week or so, with his recommendation as to when I should have another colonoscopy. He asked if I had any questions and then the nurse took over. I was given a choice of drink, while I was coming out of the sedative completely. I would absolutely go to Dr. Stine again. It was much easier than I thought it was going to be!

I have been seeing Dr. Stine for a few months now. I rarely receive any test results. It is obvious that he is not taking me seriously, probably because I am young. He blows off everything I say and every symptom I have. He talks to me like I am five. Will be getting a second opinion for sure.

Very laid back manner; easy to talk to; accurate diagnosis; didn't just prescribe more medicine, and thankfully, a nice sense of humor. Have several relatives who have also seen him and ended up with the same impression.
