Dr. Lester Yan, MD

Dr. Yan should truly feel guilty calling himself a medical doctor. I have been going to MidMichiganHealth for over 15 years, and I was forced to switc to him when my previous physician Dr. Kastning had to leave the practice. This man might possibly be the biggest jerk I have ever met. I was discriminated against because of my mental illness and was denied the medication I have been taking since I was 13 for my mental illness. The way he went about this was insulting, condescending and honestly disgusting coming from a family doctor. I am filing a formal compliance complaint with corporate and will be discussing my options with my lawyer, but in the mean time I feel like the people of Mt. Pleasant deserve to be warned because I truly wish I was. So I will be making it a point to post every review I can, blast this information on social media, and as a public relations graduate I will be using my extensive media list (my personal contacts from over 50 news outlets in Michigan) to spread… this information the best I can because I truly think it is a public tragedy that he is allowed to see patients. Especially when my previous physician Dr. Kanstning was the best doctor I have ever known, I know MidMichiganHealth is better than having this man represent them in such a negative way. If you value respect, and want to be treated like a human being and not a statistical number on a piece of paper, I highly recommend finding a real Doctor because this man definitely does not have his patients best interest in mind.
