Dr. Lester Michael Zackler, MD

Zackler believes physically injured people are faking pain based on psychiatric issues because their treating physicians tell the patients the diagnosis and the the patients wallow in that diagnosis. Zackler cares nothing about the actual physical injuries.

I am writing this review as a former patient of Dr. Zackler. He prescribed medication that I took over a span of about 2 years. Once my lawsuit was over, without any follow up or communication from his office; I was told I am no longer a patient of Dr. Zackler after showing up to my appointment. I was never advised as to how I should manage my prescription going forward or better yet, how to manage my mental health issues. Shame on you Dr. Zackler. The lawsuit money was all you required.

I think there are plenty of other good doctors before making the decision to see this one. He is rude, insulting, thinks little of women and has a superiority complex. I have seen him on several occasions and he doesn't get any better. He always wants to be right and never listens to what his patients are saying. Instead of listening he would rather pull out a book and give a diagnosis of something that is completely incorrect. Feeling comfortable with a doctor that will know about your past history and not judge is part of finding a good doctor. This is not one of them.

Go somewhere else!!!!!!!! There are plenty of good doctors to see and he is definitely not one of them.

Dr. Zackler is a rare doctor, he goes above and beyond in treating not a diagnosis or diagnoses, but he reaches to see the human being you are underneath. In over 14 years of having him as my doctor, he is beyond professional, exceeds any standard of care, at the top of his game- and he has always remembered that I am a human being first. While all doctors have to make a living and certainly deserve to, Dr. Zackler's inspiration to pass on whatever tools he can to help not a diagnosis, but a fellow soul, is not rooted in money. It is his calling. Certainly, we all want doctors to wave a magic wand- hand us the magic pill to make it all go better- use some 'primitive magic'- anything to make life worth living. We sometimes put them up on pedestals so we can knock them down because we feel so low from our situation. Well, this is not a pedestal I am putting him on. This is too brief and much too late in taking the time to state that this physician is rare- you won't find a better… doctor. (I have had to encounter a few due to hospitalizations- trust me)- You get what you settle for...don't settle for anyone else if possible. The professionalism, the confidentiality, the commitment, his honesty and integrity- along with his staff whom is outstanding- is worth it. It's your life, but I have mine thanks to this doctor, this human being, whom reminded me that I am just that- 'human'.

Dr. Zackler is a new doctor for me and so far I have been very happy with the results.

This doctor is probably the worst psychiatrist I've run across. My wife sees him and he only wants to collect his money as she deteriorates into obivion. I've tried to discuss the situation with him and am totally ignored. She needs serious help and he is totally ineffective.
