Dr. Letha Carol Archer, MD

overall, very dissatisfied I was referred to her for some help for my child's behavior after experiencing Trauma. First of all, she I was told she would be putting in referrals in with a few other places which never happened! Which in itself was very frustrating, but then you add in the overall demeaner being judgmental made everything that more uncomfortable for myself. She did absolutely nothing and then proceeds to charge me 500$ for what?! she helped nothing, made me and my daughter uncomfortable, and worst of all made me feel like a bad parent for asking for help.

Absolutely LOVE this Dr. and all the Drs. in this office. They actually stop and listen and care; my kids are not just another number for them. I love that they have same day appointments and after hours available.

We love Dr. Archer. I don't care how long I have to wait (all the good doctors have long wait times because EVERYONE wants to see them). EVERY appointment she is caring, attentive, and ACTUALLY interested. She remembers us and things we've talked about previously in great detail. I never feel like I;m dealing with a "factory" doctor, who is just churning out appointments for money. She works WITH us to come up with a health plan for our son. She never dictates arbitrary deadlines or treatments that she uses for everyone in that age group at HER convenience- it's an INDIVIDUAL plan tailor-made for our son. That is a rarity these days.Our family has a history of Autism and unlike other doctors we had seen previously, she took our concerns for our son seriously. He started showing some red flags around his 12 month check up. Instead of just blowing it off (like I've seen with other kids in my circle of family and friends when they go to their doctors) she suggested we get an evaluation… through a program at UCSD and gave us the info. Because of her our son WAS diagnosed as "presenting an Autism Spectrum Disorder" and is getting an early intervention. I cannot overstate just how vital Dr. Archer's care has been for our family. I hope my son (and our daughter due any day now) will be able to see her throughout their childhood.
