Biography
I was born in California and raised in Salt Lake City. I came back to California for my formal education because of the diversity California has to offer. My decision to become an obstetrician/gynecologist came after I watched the miraculous birth of my nephew and witnessed the warm and caring bedside manner of the physician. I currently enjoy participating in community events by educating women about specific health issues and mentoring youth. My hope is that someday I will inspire someone as I was inspired.
About my practice
My practice includes general obstetrics and gynecology. My colleagues and I, including other physicians, midwives, and nurse practitioners, work together to make the prenatal care experience as special as possible. In order to provide you with the best care, I need to understand your concerns, address …your expectations, and discuss with you options to help you make treatment decisions that are right for you. Your involvement is critical in the success of your health. I care about maintaining and improving your health by incorporating behavioral, medicinal, and surgical techniques if necessary. I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgeries, such as ablation procedures and laparoscopic hysterectomy.
How I thrive
I exercise regularly with my husband, play with my two daughters, and relax at the spa with my friends. In addition, I love to read, travel, and go to concerts.
