Dr. Lev Asherov, MD

I came in and asked for a tetanus shot because of an injury and although this Doctor's expertise, as listed, are in wound care, no care was given to this injury. I left with this two inch open wound just the same way I walked in. What other exaggerations are listed in his list of services? Chose another Doctor.

I contacted the doctor's staff on Friday about my medical condition. They returned my call Monday while I was in a meeting. I have left messages Tuesday and Wednesday about getting an appointment with no action on their part. Very disappointed with the quality of this office.

He's to busy typing on his computer to listen to what physical problems u have. Says he'll get a specialist and u never hear anymore from anyone

I think Dr. Asherov is a good doctor. Don't go to his office if your sick and don't have an appointment because the front desk person will send you to Urgent Care. If you have an appoint for a regular check up they will see you otherwise might as well save your self some trouble and go directly to Urgent Care.. It seems he is only available for well people going in for their regular check ups.

He helped me some but I felt that he and nurse rather rigid and controlling. I had a medical problem and had to go Urgent Care because I could not connect with the front office. I called them and left a message on a Friday and they never called back. Office portal not up to date with test results-not very helpful service.

Dr. Asherov's diagnostic thoroughness and active listening have me wishing I'd switched to him years ago!

I think Dr Asherov is a very knowledgeable and caring physician. He is sometimes curt but maintains a very professional practice. His nurse, Deb, is very helpful, knowledgeable and follows up on everything. Great staff.

Dr. Asherov has treated me for over two years and during this time my health (as measured by blood tests and vitals) has improved significantly. His approach, at times, is terse; which may offend some people, but I prefer a Doctor that gets to the point and does not spend a lot of time attempting to be a 'friend'. That was my previous Doctor's approach and my diabetes was uncontrolled and my blood pressure high. Dr. Asherov continues to ask probing questions to uncover other problems to improve one's health. I have recommended Dr. Asherov to my friends and they have had similar, positive experiences.

Dr.Asherov is a kind and caring physician honestly interested in your health both physical and mental; always takes the time to actually sit down and ask you how you are - very unusual these days. He also treats my husband and son and asks how they are doing. I have been to many doctors in my life and feel that Dr. Asherov is one of the best I've ever known. I would and do trust him with my life.

While he is sometimes brusque, I feel that Dr. Asherov gives accurate diagnoses and has given insights into my symptoms that even my oncologist has not provided. Fortunately, I am in good condition and have few problems. So, a little good medicine goes a long way.
