Dr. Lewis J. Bellardo, MD

Dr. Bellardo delivered both of my children (2015 & 2018) via c-section and I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. He is kind, patient, and always listens to my concerns. He never rushes through appointments and takes time to address each and every question I have.

When I moved to Nashville, all my friends recommended him. After being with him for my pregnancy, I sure see why he has such an amazing reputation!

I saw Dr Bellardo when I was pregnant with my daughter. I feel my daughter is alive today because of him. He is a very understanding and caring person. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor. I was just searching for an OBGYN in my insurance network and thought of him. How I wish he was on my insurance plan.

I started seeing Dr. Bellardo after 2 miscarriages in a row, and having just gotten pregnant for a 3rd time. I was seeing another OBGYN in the same practice, but they were very rushed, and didn't seem to like to answer questions, so I started seeing Dr. Bellardo upon the recommendation of a friend. Both my Husband and I were so pleased after our first visit with Dr. Bellardo. He was so kind, caring, really took the time to listen, answered all of my questions, and asked if I had any more questions for him. He was very knowledgeable, and I feel in very good hands with him. I have seen him several times now, and each time he is very caring, thorough, attentive, listens, and seems to genuinely care about you as a patient. I can't say enough good things about him, and I can't wait for him to deliver our baby!

I have seen Dr Bellardo for years. H has called me on Friday evenings to discuss test report with me personally by phone. Always acres and listens, open to hearing your concerns and accept patient input. I have endometriosis and was on the verge of a hysterectomee when I first saw him. He has me on a medicine that stops my cycles and I was able to avoid surgery.

Excellent physician. My whole family goes to him and loves him.

My primary GYN recommended Dr. Bellardo and I have not been disappointed with the recommendtion. This is my first child and I could not have chosen a more knowledgable and compassionate OB!!

Dr. Bellardo is a nice man, really quiet. Had to do engage all conversation and felt i was on my own in order of my own research to check with him to make sure everything was ok. It was my first pregnancy so i had no clue what was going on and wasn't led in any way helpful unless I engaged conversation. He was only in office visits for maybe 10 mins topped. Felt like i was just another number/or another amount for the checkbook. The nurse that takes you back is nice but has body language that speaks enough to make you not want to ask anything, then when you leave its a fake smile and bye now. The office staff is very cold shoulder. Its like they don't like their job and don't want to be there. The RN that answers his phone calls is the only one I felt knew me and helped me with all my problems and concerns during pregnancy. She was very easy to get a hold of and always called back if a message got left. The lady that does the paperwork, Because you can't fill out your own and get the… doctor to sign, is very rude and cold. I will not go back to this doctor. I went to him on a referral from a friend because my doctor recently became just gyn and let her ob certs go. Again, Dr.Bellardo is nice, quiet guy but don't expect knowledge from him unless he's engaged in conversation. The office staff is the reason I will NOT return to him.

Have gone to Dr. Bellardo for 10 years. Very courteous and caring doctor. Always spends time with you. Never makes you feel stupid with any questions you ask and never have a long wait. He is a wonderful doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Bellardo's for 10 years. I always appreciated having Dr. Bellardo as my gynecologist, but now that I have relocated out of state and have seen other doctors, I appreciate him even more. He is extremely kind, caring and considerate, and will you put at ease from the moment you set foot in his office. I have friends who are his patients who have had similar experiences with him. He goes out of his way to encourage his patients to ask questions and discuss their situations with him. He also personally follows up with phone calls after visits if there is anything of concern.
