Dr. Lewis Roger Felder, MD

Corporate practice that runs like a factory. Very difficult to get new patient appointments and to try schedule a GI procedure in timely manner to a vast amount of telephone calls, emails and finally gave up trying and scheduled with and provider/hospital.

I have been a patient of Dr. Felder for several years and having just had my second colonoscopy, I am happy to say that everything went exactly as planned. Dr. Felder and his entire staff are informative, caring and professional. They make what is seemingly a psychologically uncomfortable procedure, routine and comfortable in every way. It is therefore, with great pleasure that I can recommend Dr. Felder and his team!

Dr. Felder has been my Gastroenterologist for over 15 years. He listens and gives practical medical advice. He's a great doctor!??

The wait can be take to an hour an half!

Dr. Felder has been my Gastroenterologist for over 10 years. He is an excellent Gastroenterologist, which is why I keep coming back. As of the day of this review, which prompted this negative review, was not the first time I’d had to wait an excessive amount of time to be seen (beyond 30 minutes) which is utterly ridiculous! Even worse, and more off putting, is the fact that none of the receptionists ever call patients in advance of arrival to warn of this, so when you arrive, you’re hit with a surprise, and it is then that you are told “well I had to tell you”! Ummmm... excuse me, but having received a call in advance of arrival would have been the ideal time to tell me. This type of behavior is disrespectful, thoughtless and inconsiderate to patients, and it’s not like there’s a “main office” one can contact to report these actions to. Sure, I can easily find another physician, but, why can’t the gastro group treat patients with more deference and be respectful of their (our) time.… Providing exceptional customer service is EQUALLY important to having superior surgical skills! Giving me a choice to decide in advance would have been the right thing to do, as opposed to telling a common and universal lie about why the doctor is running late! It happens too often to be credible. Dr. Felder needs to learn to be on time and to stop wasting patients time!

Dr. Felder is a very nice an attentive doctor.

This doctor stunk! I took a family member there who was in their late 80's. After waiting for hours, Dr. Felder's bird-brained young assistant told them to take off their clothes and get up on the high table with no assistance from any of the staff. She went out of the room and left them there on their own with no assistance. There was only a rolling round doctor's stool in the room. There were no other chairs to hold on to while undressing. I tried to hold down the moving stool the best I could but unfortunately, my family member ended up falling on the ground. When I ran out to get someone to help me, the doctor stood there, without helping, and said "I don't normally treat people in their age group." That was cold. By the way, my family member's hemmorhoid problem is still there. The banding method he did didn't work. My advise is to go elsewhere. This doctor is incompetent and arrogant.

Dr. Felder is one who takes time with his pts and remembers them yrs later. He promotes comfort during procedures. He is just great about every matter. I would recommend him to any person with any form of gastric problems - end to end :) God bless one and all GLB

Excellent but the nurse supervisor is very rude needs to learn phone manners.

Dr. Felder and his staff faced a difficult diagnosis with me and met it head on with fantastic results.... no one else could figure out what the matter was.
