Dr. Lewis William Goldstein, MD

I love Dr. Goldstein, He is straight forward and spends a lot of time with his patients. The staff is wonderful and there is not a long waiting time.

I didn't have a problem with the office staff but Dr. Goldstein has been extremely grumpy and unpleasant at each of my appointments. He seemed to be unconcerned about the well being of my health. I was experiencing a lot of cramping and I asked for a vaginal ultrasound on many occasions. However, when he finally decided to perform the vaginal ultrasound he said that everything looked normal. I then asked him was he sure that I didn't have any cyst or fibroids his exact words were "yes you have a little cyst and a little fibroid but it's nothing to run home about." To make a long story short I'm in the process of searching for a new Gynecologist.

The atmosphere in the lobby seems as though you will get in trouble for saying a word! Its way too quiet and no privacy when talking to the receptionist. They talk way too loud to you, that everyone in the lobby can hear your business! The wait is not that long but, I wanted my husband to go back with me and they didn't let him come back. My experience with Dr G. was not that pleasant...My first visit, he came in the room like he was so grumpy! I thought that maybe he had a bad dayâ?¦ but after 3 visits, I realized that that's a part of his dull personality. He is not a people person! I don't go to the doctor to make friends but more importantly, if you are going to check someone's personal and private parts then I expect you to be at least friendly, kind, and courteous!!! I had a problem w/cramping & asked him while I was being examined to give me an ultra sound. He did not respond nor explained his proposition. After the examination, he had me to go to his office to talk to me.… I asked again, and he said, "I will see you back in a month and give you the ultra sound then. In the mean time, I will write you a prescription for some pain relief." Went back to get the ultra sound; found a fibroid tumor measuring 9mm. I was upset and ask him what he was going to do about it, he said "NOTHING!" his exact words! He said, "I gave you a prescription for Naproxen for the cramping, take that!â?? He was just unconcerned and heartless!!! I will NOT refer them to anyone!
