Dr Shi was very rude and condescending. He did not address the root of my pain. He wanted to give me an injection without knowing what the issue was. My MRI showed a bicep tendon tear. He was only concerned about the tendonosis in my rotator cuff. I had to get a second opinion.

Dr. Shi is a great doctor! He is a shoulder expert, with a national reputation. He answers my emails at all hour of the night, and seems to genuinely cares about his patients. I had a great outcome with my surgery, and would send my family and friends with shoulder problems to him.

I have known Dr. Shi now for over two years. My brother has been a patient of his and has gone through two surgeries with him. Dr. Shi cannot be more caring, empathetic, and a true problem solver. He does not rush into surgeries. He tries every other treatment approach before going into surgery. In fact, I think we had to convince him to do surgery. Dr. Shi seems is genuinely concerned about the well-being of his patients. Whenever I had a question and reached out at Midnight, he replied back within minutes. I was shocked. Dr. Shi even called me at wee hours of the morning to check on things with me and see how my brother was doing. This really had a tremendous impact for me. It showed me what a special individual Dr. Shi is. My brother has not been the smoothest of patients at all times, but, who is. Especially, when you are dealing with consisten shoulder pain in two shoulders. Well, my hats off to Dr. Shi. I think he is just an amazing surgeon. Bravo Dr. Shi!

Dr. Shi is a very nice Doctor than is very good at doing surgery on shoulders. He tells you what needs to be done in easy to understand terms. I would recommend him highly.

I was having serious shoulder pain and was referred by a friend to Dr. Shi. Dr. Shi impressed me with his expertise, professionalism and friendly bedside manner. I had a good outcome and am now back to normal daily activities again.
