Most painful pap I've ever had. Wow. Won't be going back.

I had the most painful Pap smear experience ever. She did it so fast and in a painful way and afterwards I was sore and bloated for 2 - weeks. And then, I got a message that the pap sample was unreadable. So now I have to get the Pap smear done again, by a different doctor this time! Another thing that bothered me about this doctor is that she would not listen to me and allow me to tell her about all my health concerns, she was in to much of a hurry, only one thing at a time, make another appointment, she would say. My insurance only fully covers 3 appointments per year and I’m an older person, I have multiple things going on, and I can’t make an appointment for every little thing! I’ve never had a doctor act this way towards me before. I highly do not recommend this doctor.

I started going to Dr. Barnett when she worked in Lillington, NC at the office uptown, she then moved to another location and I kept goint to her every 3 months. She then to Fuquay Varina and told me that was closer to her home and she would have more time with her daughter. Well she must have moved to Raleigh because when she said she was going to North Raleigh because that was closer to her home. Well I work in Smithfield and live in Benson so it is too far for me. This has been over a year and I can't find a decent GP. Hopefully I will have one by Novermber 2018. Tell me Dr. Barnett who would you recommend I see? I am 60 and need certain meds. They aren't easy to come by when you don't have a doctor.

I have known Dr. Barnett for almost 20 years. She is very caring and prompt with her visits, and genuinely helps me understand my health in a kind manner.

Lack of empathy, indifferent, poor communication skills. Will never see this doctor again.

They insist I come in every six months. For thirty years I have been going once a year to get a blood test. Why?????

Very Pleasant, easy to talk too, knows her stuff. Dr. Barnett has looked after me for years, would recommend her to all.

Dr. Barnett did not listen to what I was saying as far as what side effects my meds were causing, cont'd w/ HER regiment-NOT WORKING!! Bedside manner sucks!! NEVER refills by fax from pharmacy, patient must ALWAYS pay co-pay(OFFICE VISIT) to get refill-WILL FIND MD WHO I FEEL IS BETTER QUALIFIED!!!
