We just saw Dr. Ge to get a second opinion regarding my mom’s breast cancer diagnosis. I thought she was a terrible communicator. She tried to get us in and out about as fast as possible. I had several questions. She told me I read too much. Ahh sorry lady, cancer is a big deal so it should be commended to be prepared as possible by asking questions, not discouraged. Patients need to be their own advocate and gather as much information as possible before making potentially life threatening decisions. She would also cut me off in the middle of a question to provide an answer. If she would have listened to the whole question, she would have understood I wasn’t asking what she assumed. She listens to respond, not to understand. I wouldn’t trust this woman with a cancer diagnosis!
