I have been seeing her for five years now, I had a very severe case of crohns disease that left me in the hospital for a few months. It was so bad, that I required a few surgeries. In the hospital I asked if she could be my gastro and I am so happy I did. She is tough on you but that is what I need, She will let you know when you are messing up and not doing things correctly. Which is all stuff that I think is great. She is very caring and well informed about everything gastro. Hopefully you will never have to see her, but if you do need a gastro I highly recommend her. She is pretty great along with the surgeon I had through all of this. I am so grateful for her personally.

Dr Kaufman is excellent. She listens to you. Explains very well. Answers any questions you may have. Is very knowledgeable about a wide array of questions concerning your overall health that responds with your disease. Stays knowledgeable of the current trends with IBD. Very natural and down to earth personality.
