Dr. Liana Luba Bittner, MD

I moved to this area 2 months ago, and have not found a family Dr. I had a bad flu or virus and drove myself to the ER where Dr. Bittner was on duty. She listened to my symptoms, was cautious and ran all appropriate tests, put me at ease and has an overall respect for her patients, as I overheard her with several others. I am impressed and am now seeking her out as my Family Dr. as well as for my partner. I thought I was going to have a difficult time finding a good Dr. here, having left care at the University of VA Medical Center. But I am pleasantly surprised. Thanks, Dr. Bittner.

I did not receive care in Dr Bittner's office, so I am unable to rate that portion of the survey accurately; however, I was in severe pain and experiencing back spasms and was treated quickly with two injections of muscle relaxants which greatly reduced my pain. I was in and out of the ER in 1:15 minutes. She was no nonsense and did her job well from what I could observe in an ER situation.
