Dr. Urfer is amazing. She really takes the time to listen to what you are saying and what it is you are trying to accomplish by seeking her treatment. She does not over medicate or prescribe easily just to numb symptoms. Healing has been a fairly long process for me. After a year of persistently trying different medications, we finally found the correct medication and the correct dose and I have never felt better in my life. Was it easy? No. Was it as quick as I had hoped? No. Was it worth it? Yes. Do I trust Dr. Urfer with my wellbeing and that she would never steer my in a harmful direction? Yes. Do I feel Dr. Urfer is just as dedicated to my healing as I am? Yes. The best thing you can do is be entirely open and honest with yourself and with her about your conditions. Also, be patient and stick with it. Healing is possible and 100% worth it. Dr. Urfer is the best psychiatrist in Vero Beach.

Dr. Urfer is an excellent clinician and a kind human being...a combination that is a true service to her patients. She accurately diagnosed a very longtime problem that had been previously diagnosed, listened to my desire for the least intrusive medication and dosage, and worked with me as I moved to the correct level. It is not an overstatement to say she changed my life. Thank you, Dr. Urfer.

I've seen Dr. Urfer four (4) times and each time has been very productive. She is a wonderful and caring doctor and I highly recommend her.
