I took my dad in for a geriatric visit today, and I was so impressed with the care he gave to my elderly father. He was patient and understanding and asked very good questions. The great thing is that he talked directly to my father and didn't look to me for all the answers. He showed my dad respect, laughed at his corny jokes and listened to his around about answers to his questions. I am so thankful we found a good doctor to lean on as my dad will likely progress in his dementia symptoms. Thank you Dr. Hayat and your team for a wonderful first visit.

My mother saw Dr. Hyatt for 4 years for geriatric care. A year ago, she had some trouble breathing and was taken to the ER, where she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. Dr. Hyatt would not refer her to a cardiologist. My mother's health declined significantly under his care. We took her to a new doc recently who said she had severe arterial stenosis/heart failure and it was too late to fix it. Dr. Hyatt was negligent in her care. He never ordered a mammogram, colonoscopy, or cardiac tests over all those years. He ignored requests from family members to explore her symptoms further. He just prescribed pills.
