Dr. Liberato V Mukul, MD

Great doctor. I saw him for about 10 years, even making 1 1/2 hour drive after we moved. He always listened to my concerns while going through perimenopause, and explained my options.

Dr. Mukul performed my hysterectomy in 2016 and has been my gyn ever since. He is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I know. I always feel listened to and respected. I was especially impressed when he listened to my 11th hour concerns about my hysterectomy and even contacted another physician to discuss my concerns. Dr. Mukul has never made me feel rushed or ignored. I am sorry for another reviewer’s bad experience and wanted to offer my perspective.

Dr. Liberato V. Mukul at Women's Healthcare Associates caused me serious harm. I filed a formal complaint against him for negligence as a practitioner but it seems he is still allowed to practice medicine and hurt women with his negligence. I have endometriosis. I also have estrogen-sensitive migraine with aura. Dr. Mukul forced me onto estrogen birth control and refused to renew my progesterone birth control even though I begged and pleaded with him not to do this to me. He ordered me to take estrogen even after I begged him and told him it was unsafe for me. I had no choice in taking it as my insurance would not let me go elsewhere. If you do not know, estrogen literally feeds endometriosis and allows it to grow. I spent three weeks taking this new BC and then lying on my bathroom floor unable to go to work, screaming and sobbing from the pain of the organ scarring from internal bleeding. I destroyed my emergency funds because I could not work. When I dragged myself into the… office after three weeks, barely able to walk and sobbing in pain, Dr. Mukul was utterly cold and dismissive. He told me he "did not know much about endometriosis" and was "mostly an OB." Dr. Mukul treated me like a liar and like I was wasting his time. He finally gave me a prescription for a massively high dose of progesterone and shooed me out, clearly annoyed with me. He simply did not care about the horrific amount of damage he caused my body with his negligence. He had better things to do while I bled internally from his negligence and scarred my organs. This doctor is unsafe and should not be practicing medicine. Please stay far away from him. It's been two years and I am only now healed from what he did to me. I complained to WHA as well as formally reporting Dr.Mukul but WHA simply did not care. They had already gotten my insurance money after all.

Amazing doctor and amazing staff! I recently had a laparoscopic hysterectomy performed by Dr. Mukul and Dr. Conger and was shocked at how well it went. Very minimal pain and both doctors were amazing. They answered any and every question I had, and told me to call with any other questions or concerns I had. I drove several hours to have Dr. Mukul and Conger do my surgery and it was so worth the drive. If you are looking for very skilled doctors with both care and compassion, these are the best. I just can't say enough good things about Dr Mukul or Dr Conger. Excellent!!
