Dr. Lidia Dengelegi Dengelegi Abrams, PhD

Dr. Lidia provided a beam of light during one of the darkest periods of my life. She went above and beyond. She came to court and child services with me. She helped me see how to balance reason with emotion during a time of immense chaos. Most importantly, Dr. Lidia spoke to me as a person and treated me with dignity. She provided access via digital communications and phone so I could reach her when I needed to speak. Unlike other doctors with rigid constraints, Dr. Lidia took the time to understand me and my situation. She is a source of continuity amidst uncertainty. I am forever grateful for saving my life.

Thanks to Dr. Abrams (Dr Lidia), I’ve been better at coping with many things in my life. She’s wise, non judging, and constructive.

IShe is not pretentious or condescending. Her humanistic approach will make you feel better in a short amount of time. I highly recommend her
