Dr. Lilette Eva Daumas-Britsch, MD

If I could give zero stars I would. This doctor is horrible. She puts her wants before her patient's needs. My father has cancer and he has an HMO. Daumas drug her feet for 2 weeks in getting paperwork to MDA. Once MDA received the paperwork Daumas refused to follow up. Her reasoning was that "it would cost too much money for him to go there". All the while my father is at home getting sicker with absolutely no treatment. He got so sick he started hallucinating. When we contacted her to ask her advice on if we should take him to the hospital or not, she discouraged it. We told her we was taking him by ambulance to Methodist. She discouraged that and tried to tell us that he can't go downtown because his insurance won't pay for it and he would get lost in the hospital system there. Well no thanks to her, he is downtown and insurance is paying for it. We're still trying to get her to do her job and write a referral to his insurance for MDA. Don't go to her if you care about your health.

Dr Daumas and her entire staff are awesome,extremely Nice to every body,they treat you like a real friend,always Courteous and friendly,she spend time with you as a Patient and answer all of your question and what is most Important will not make go see her again just to read you the results,like many doctors due they make you go for the Results and pay another visit,this does not happen with Dr Daumas they take the time and call you with the results That tell you how honest she is besides been an excellent Dr

Her staff leaves a lot to be desired...they need to be trained in the Customer service area. Dr. Daumas is all over the place with her thoughts, not a very comforting attribute for a primary care doctor. I trust her Physician Assistant more than her.

Never would I EVER recommend this doctor to anyone! She is rude. Her staff isn't great either. She doesn't know what she's talking about. Recommend a medication that would have really caused some serious damage. Doesn't even care to remember patients history. And if you're sick or need a question answered prepare to wait days for a response back. If you care about your health go to a different doctor. I would give zero stars if I had the option.

Dr. Daumas is very thorough with each patient. She takes care of our whole family and has been doing this for a long time. She is very very honest and does not sugar coat her medical advice. She talks to each patient with respect and will even email you though the portal with questions about you health outside of the scheduled visit. (I have a chronic illness and have even received messages about how am I feeling with the new med change!.!.!.!.) I don't know a dr in this area or any doctor I have had previous experience with as thorough as her .

Dr. Daumas does not focus on the symptoms or best treatment of her patients. Be sure to have insurance.
