Dr. Lilia Gorodinsky, DO

My experience was less than stellar. I was misdiagnosed by this doctor. She advised that I had a tear in my tendon after a couple of range of motion stretches. The pain was exacerbated after these stretches. A couple of days later I went to get MRI/imaging and everything was fine. No tear.. I strongly do not recommend. As a side note, I tried writing this same review on google and it was deleted...Interesting...

The fact that I have to bill my own insurance (out of network) and wait months to get reimbursed when I pay thousands of dollars out of pocket is simply crazy. What century are we living in.. Doctor herself is so so. I got the sense that she is more into the spiritual/energy cult following healing type.

In my opinion, the treatment wasn't worth the money. You end up shelling out over $500 of cash for a consultation & manipulative treatment which is not covered by insurance. The lower backpain relief was minimal. I am writing this because pain came back 5 days later. Bright side is, she is a nice woman and easy to talk to. Overall a so so experience.

A friend of mine referred me to this doctor. Doctor was nice and answered all my questions, but the entire visit and the treatment felt weird. I would have to describe my visit somewhat of an expensive mix of receiving massage therapy and a chiropractic treatment. Thats what it felt like. In addition, I felt like the doctor was not altogether. As she was working on me, I felt like her mind was floating elsewhere. Did not feel reassuring when someone up in the air is working on my body. While being stretched, I felt an uncomfortable bone crack in my lower back. Never experienced that before. I am a big fan of Non-Invasive treatments, but if this is what Osteopathic medicine calls an adjustment, I am definitely not impressed. A Positive result is what I was looking for. Maybe I need another treatment for results to appear, but I don't think I will be coming back.

Doctor has a wonderful smile and positive + informative persona, but with the amount of money being spent on treatment, I wish I could have lasting results. Very limited boutique type of one woman practice.

I held off on writing this review for a couple of weeks but here it goes.. This doctor is a perfect example of what paid advertising gets you: Wonderful reviews and miniscule results. I made an appointment after reading all these five star reviews. Very nice doctor, big smile, eager to answer all my questions, but the biggest question is, did I feel significantly better when I left the office? Just a little. Then went back to the same.

Did a quick search on google on " top Osteopaths in NYC". Dr. Gorodinsky came up as one of them with many great google reviews. Left two messages and no reply.. What's the point of having a phone number when no one picks up..

I called to make an appointment and before I could ask for availability, the girl on the phone stopped me and said that the doctor only accepts cash payment and does not accept insurance rushing me off the phone in a condescending manner. I don't know if it was my heavy accent or whatever, but I felt that she didn't want to be bothered. I had no problem paying what ever fee they asked, but the way I was spoken to made me go somewhere else.

After moving back to NYC, my doctor suggested I go see an Osteopathic specialist for some pain I was having. I did a quick google search of top doctors in the city and NYOsteo & Dr Goridinsky came up on numerous searches. I've been trying to contact this office since last week and no one will return my calls. I call, and an automatic voice machine directs me to jazz music for a min before it directs me to voicemail. I guess I should try on Wednesday, the only day they are actually open. Clueless as how some of these docs operate and stay in business. I dislike writing bad reviews but I hope management in the office reads this and improves.

Dr. Gorodinsky always provides terrific and cutting edge care. She takes the time to really know and understand her patients, and find the best course of treatment. She is very compassionate and never makes patients feel rushed. Her holistic approach combined with her commitment to providing her patients with best in class care (including cutting edge technology) and her incredible address book mean that you know you are in excellent hands.
