Dr. Lilibeth Jauregui

This Dr. Lilibeth Jauregui, MD is very irresponsible!! This is my first time to give a Dr. 1 Star rating, I would give her 0 if possible, Dr. Lilibeth Jauregui, MD discharged my partner without any communication notice to me, as a primary caregiver and a spouse, and w/o a rehab facility to go, w/o dialysis bookings arranged, my partner is new dialysis patients, we are just navigating how to adapt to this new life, I have been visited and stayed with my partner of 4 weeks in Boca hospital everyday, 4-12 hours each day, and I have never met her once until the date before taking my partner out of hospital. We were left in limbo for a few days and didn’t know what to do, my partner body is very weak, after 11 days in ICU, 15 days in regular room, he couldn’t sit up or stand up, in need of serious rehab /nursing care, yet I got the call from case manager, you need to take your partner out of hospital before noon today since he has been discharged last night by the Dr Jauregui, I was… shocked, I had no notice, no communication with the Dr or anyone, yet same date, I also heard, Holycross Rehab centre transfer was denied by the insurance co. what should we do? Taking my partner home?? I don’t even know where to get my partner to do dialysis. I requested the case manager to ask her to call me, she did, and actually apologized to me, and told me she has discussed with my partner of discharging him – yet, my partner is 85 years old, confused most of the time after 4 weeks hospital bed stays, and don’t remember half of the time, yet, she never once called me – My cell phone # is on the Nursing board with my name on it, - yeah Nurse does call me if they have some questions. I filed the urgent appeal to overturn her discharged order but it was turned down same day by her!! we were left w/o any options, I have 1 day to take my partner out of the hospital, since if I don’t, we will be billed with $3500+++ everyone know how crazy expensive hospital bills can be if w/o insurance. I was running around and try to find a rehab facility to accommodate my partner to stay with dialysis facility, I was able to find one myself (not from the case managers), we should never have lived through the stress like that, all due to this irresponsible Dr.
