Terrible bedside manner with me (mother) and my newborn. My son was hypoglycemic during the 1st 24 hours, but already above the hospitals glucose threshold and still improving when she came in to see him- I was trying to nurse him so he could continue improving and she comes in and demands that I give her to him to assess him and completely disrupts his latch that I was already struggling with. Then she told me that I HAD to supplement him with formula or he could have neurological damage. How about you read the chart before you come in your patients room and see that his glucose levels were already stable. When I told her I was a peds nurse she high tailed it out of the room without even saying goodbye.

She is terrible. No respect for mother or newborn. Will make you feel like a horrible mother.

I find it hard to believe this lady is allowed to practice medicine. She was terrible with our newborn baby. She grabbed him too firmly to change the diaper, and when putting on a new one she ignored me when I told her to be careful since he just had a circumcision. She also did not fold down the diaper allowing it to rub against the newly cut umbilical cord. I could not wait to have her leave the room and if we have another baby, there is no way that lady is touching him/her.
