Dr. Lily Elsaidi Hahn

Dr. Hahn swiftly took action and effectively solved a problem I’d had for nearly a year. She made me feel safe and confident about a procedure that healed me and returned the way of life I’d been accustomed to. We are fortunate to have her.

Dr. Hahn has a horrible bad side manner! At 30weeks I was diagnosed with polyhydramnios'(Excessive amniotic fluid) and that my baby was large for her gestational age. Dr. Hahn basically told me that due my baby measuring large that there was a good chance she would break her collarbone or arm during delivery and have permanent neurological damage. Obviously I freaked out and began crying. Dr. Hahn just sat on the stool In front of me staring at me as I cried!. What human treats a distressed mother like that?!? She did not console me, she did not offer advice or any words of encouragement or plans to make sure my baby would be safe. I asked about a c section and she said anyone can ELECT to have one... I thought.. Ok... Do you recommend that or what?!? You're the Dr. You're telling me my baby could have permanent neurological damage from vaginal delivery... In the end.. I was induced at 39 weeks, everything with my induction was going great until she came in and had me start… pushing before I was ready. ) my nurse even commented to her that I wasn't ready..) I ended up having to go to the OR for an emergency c section.. However.. Once we got wheeled into the operating room, she had me start pushing again. At this point I am having a serious panic attackcu husband is not yet in the room bc he is getting scrubs on. This was the most horrible traumatic experience I have ever had. Now, four months postpartum I am suffering from postparty depression, I called the Florence office to see one of the OB Drs (not Dr hahn) and I am told that since I am three months post deliver, wouldn't I rather see my regular dr ... UNREAL!.

Knew very little about a question I asked re: hair loss, medication, and hormones, then proceeded to bill *2* office visits to my insurance, due to "excessive time spent answering questions." Umm... yeah. Thanks so very much for charging me another $60 copay for absolutely NO help. Total ripoff, I will never return to this doctor.
