Dr. Lina Daugela, MD

This doctor was seen by me at urgent care for an assessment (I have IBD and was having massive stomach cramps and was told I need to go to urgent care to be checked for fistula or blockage etc) she told me I was getting an STD test, I denied her request as it was not that...she left the room, came back with her own little 'witness' and TOLD me I was getting a pelvic exam. I told her no again and she told me I was getting one. I cried but thought, ok it's one thing this obviously terrible listener of a doctor needs to rule out in her mind....but, SHE DID NOTHING ELSE. When the results were negative she told me I was fine and told me to leave. This was over a year ago but I realized how traumatized I was at my latest pap when I sobbed the whole way through. I've also had other trauma responses from it during other legitimate procedures related to my IBD. I've never felt so violated in my life and I truly hope no one else has to go through such treatment from her.

I have seen Dr. Dauglea twice and both times have come away feeling both that I have received the best possible care and that I know more about managing my particular concern at the time. She is very professional and obviously competent.
