Dr. Linda P Augelli-Hodor, DO

I started going to Dr. Augelli-Hodor when she was a young physician and had a private practice. Don't know how long ago that was, but it's been well over 30 years. She has cut back her hours/days (semi-retired, I guess), and I am going to miss her terribly when she retires completely. She has some of the finest qualities a doctor can possess. She listens to everything you say and never makes you feel like you're asking stupid questions. And she never rushes you through an appointment. If it takes longer than your allocated time, so be it. That is why I have never been annoyed when she was running late for an appointment. It only meant that she was giving every patient before me the time they needed. She is the epitome of a wonderful, caring physician. They should all be like her!

I have family who see her semi annually for monitoring their health. She is knowledgeable about medicine and she does listen when they visit her. But, she would not be my first choice if I needed another PC. It is difficult to see her in between appointments and if I need to speak with her about my relatives, I seldom, if ever get a call back from her or her office staff. If my relatives have an urgent issue that requires her attention, they have wait until their scheduled appointment to discuss their care, because she was to busy to talk to us. Other doctors at LVHN have called us for less urgent medical inquiries, so I'm not sure what her issue is.

Dr. Augelli- Hodor has been my doctor since 2009. I can't ask for a better doctor. She is prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and she really cares. She always takes her time to listen to my concerns and makes sure that I leave my appointments with her feeling satisfied. The staff there is amazing as well. She and they are the BEST!
