Dr. Linda Sue Brevitz, DO

The other reviewer was completely correct! This woman was pushing pills on me when I was younger, gave me an insane diagnosis, and INCREASED my medication when I was having severe side effects. She would not listen when I told her about my side effects (I gained over FORTY POUNDS in three months!!!). She also told my caregiver at the time that I would worsen in the next coming years, and would need to stay residential somewhere for the rest of my life or I would end up committing suicide, or homeless. She also refused to let me see my records. Well, we got a second opinion a few months later, I was removed from ALL medications, told that I had been used essentially as a guinea pig, as many of the medications I was prescribed were not okayed for use in children, I was misdiagnosed, and told to talk to a counselor and lead a healthier lifestyle. This woman has total disregard for her patients in my opinion, and is just raking in money from all the meds she shoves down these poor… patients' throats. One of the worst doctors I have ever had. I am now a successful adult with a family, stable relationship, no medications, and an education. However, I still have terrible stretch marks and weight around my hips from the horrible medications she gave to me. I'm grateful to be alive and coherent and away from that woman!

bad experience with this Dr. She doesn't listen because she thinks she knows everything and nothing the patient says has any bearing on her decisions. Very callous and condescending. I would never recommend her to anyone.
