Dr. Linda Marie Burrell, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Linda Burrell for over 20 years and can testify that she is one of the best doctors ever. The first situation was breast cancer, followed several years later by a rare and more serious condition. I have been fortunate to have received some excellent medical care from outstanding doctors, including my many years with Dr. Burrell. Were it not for these wonderful doctors and some degree of incredible luck I probably wouldn't be typing this comment. She is knowledgeable and caring, and manages to be both personable and kind while giving you the straight facts of a situation - a great combination for an oncologist. I really appreciate that she gives you results quickly and knows that it is hard to wait for these. I am dismayed to read the comments about the office staff - I haven't had the bad experiences that some have mentioned. I am very appreciative to have found Dr. Burrell when I did.

Very compassionate and caring . Enjoy meeting with her every time , have been a patient for six months She is also very professional and smart. Dr. Burell allways gives me hope and encouragement even though I have terminal cancer. Don't know what I do without her. She might be an Angel as well as a Doctor

Dr. Burrell has been treating me for kidney cancer. Every aspect of my treatment has been conducted with the highest level of knowledge and professionalism. I am also particularly impressed with her coordination with other specialists that were necessary in treating my condition.

The office staff is quite unprofessional and often inserts itself into situations where they lack expertise. Although Dr. Burrell has been advised of their lack of professionalism, little is done to rectify the situation. As a previous commenter stated, the patient is often left to his/her own devices when communication is required from the doctor. This can be quite frightening for patients whose medical conditions are fragile.

I have move out of the area but travel the distance to continue seeing her because doctors like her are hard to come by.

Dr. Burrell will call immediately with results from tests, often after office hours have ended. She is down to earth and sympathetic towards patients who are well-informed and want to have a voice in their own care. She is on top of all the latest treatments. She is much more patient and caring than my previous oncologist, much more concerned (and informed) about the side-effects of chemotherapy and much more willing to make adjustments in the course of treatment should that become necessary.
