Dr. Linda Leigh Carpenter, MD

Dr. Carpenter is an excellent doctor. We consulted with her recently regarding my husband's struggle with depression and she was far superior to the "top" doctors we consulted with in Boston and NYC. She spent a tremendous amount of time with us and we felt she was the first doctor in the past 10 years who actually had insight into my husband's condition. Her office assistants were polite and we had no trouble getting an appointment and didn't wait at all to see her when we arrived. We considered going to an expert at the Mayo Clinic, but truly Dr. Carpenter is at the top of her game and we wouldn't consider trying another doctor anywhere in the country.

Since Dr. Carpenter does not have any private practice, she does not have the type of office staff and scheduling procedures that most doctors do. She would not have any reason to follow up with a patient, since she does not follow any individual patients beyond their initial consultation appointments, and those appointments are requested by the treating/referring physicians. Therefore, I must conclude that readers should be suspicious of the opinions and ratings posted on this website about her.
