Dr. Linda Faye Howelton, MD

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Howelton since she was born. I have no complaints. I highly recommend her and she came highly recommended to me.

We have been with Dr. Howelton over 13 yrs. Her and her staff have always been very efficient and effective in their diagnoses and treatment. If there was an emergency see has been there for our family and spend enough time to appreciate the small talk to get to know the kids. I would highly recommend her to others.

Dr. Howelton is a wonderful doctor! I have a 10 year old (who is ADHD), 8 year old, and 5 year old girls. They absolutely love her!!! The staff is great! I spend at the most 15 minutes in the waiting room. And when I get back to see Dr. Howelton she talks to my girls asked them how their summer is going, how school is going, what sports they are playing and is genuinly interested in them. She is polite, answers all of my questions, treats me with respect, super friendly! Our visits usually last anywhere from 10-20 minutes for a regular check up and longer if needed when I have questions about my daughters ADHD. I have never had any problems with her or the staff. My insurance only charges me for the doctor visit ($50). She has great bedside manners, wonderful personality and overall an amazing doctor!!! Her nurse Aggie is wonderful as well.

She is a big disappointment for a first time mom like me, trying to find a bonding connection that never happened

I had been taking my 2 yr old daughter and 6 month old son to Dr. Howelton. She has seen both since birth. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt when it came to her less then desirable bed side manner. She is in and out with little to say and has never taken the time to get to know my children. Has never asked how they are doing, has never shown an interest in anything other then making sure they were developmentally on track. I wanted a perdiatrician that took the time to talk to me about my children and ask me if I had any concerns or questions. I wanted someone who had a good bedside manner and took an interest in the well being of my family. I have not found this in Dr. Howelton. My son had a short stay in the hospital a few months after he was born which was a very traumatic experience for us. In the follow up appt she showed no empathy or concern for him. She only asked if he was showing any more signs of trauma, checked him over and left the room. She spent less than… 2 minutes with us. I have recently decided I could not go to another appt with my son who is due for a well check. She is a good doctor if you are just looking for someone who diagnoses the problem and is in and out. We will be switching pediatricians asap.

wasn't impressed with her need to breeze through appointment. I don't even think she ever closed the door.I felt like I was treated as though I shouldn't have any worries about my baby, since it was abvious that I had other small children. I was displeased with her doctor-patient relationship and mannerisms.
