Dr. Linda Ann Karl, MD

This site needs to change that. Dr Karl is not taking new patients. Too bad though, I hear she's wonderful. Staff was great when I called and told me how the whole process works with Rheumatology in Tucson. Expect your wait time for a new patient appointment to be anytime of 3 months to a year in this town. The problem of people that need a pain doctor not a Rheumatologist, and that's what makes the process take so long. Until then I will wait for an appointment.

I've have seen Dr. Karl on and off since 1984. The off times were insurance changes which caused me to go to someone else, so I have a very good knowledge of Tucson's rheumatologists. Linda Karl is the very top of the line. She is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, listens and thoroughly explains what she thinks and wants to accomplish with her recommended treatment. I would not go willingly to any other rheumatologist.

This doctor has provided the best care I have rec'd in 20 years...she spends time with me and calls me back herself....just like an old time doc...would definitely recommend

I've been seeing Dr. Karl for over ten years. She has always been at the top of her game, current with the field, caring, professional and extremely knowledgable of all aspects of her profession - including how to handle insurance companies.

Dr. Karl is very thorough and considers all the possible factors that may be affecting my RA. It's a two way street though. She expects you to be ready for you appointment, on time and have all your tests done. But in this day on limited Rheumatoligists, I can;t blame her. She is an excellent doctor and I evem recomeneded her to my father.
