Dr. Linda Lacy, MD

I was sad to see the negative comments, so I decided to share my experience of over 15 years. I have always received very good care. She found my uterine cancer and assisted in my hysterectomy. She also diagnosed my daughter's breast cancer. At other times, she has diagnosed other conditions that had been misdiagnosed by other doctors. My daughter also really appreciated Dr. Lacy. Last year, I did have a problem, but it was with office staff. The person at the desk told me that I wouldn't be seen because I hadn't arrived thirty minutes early. I was in pain from my arthritis and using a walker. I just left and drove back to the eastside. It became difficult to communicate with office staff on calls for another appointment. Luckily, I got on a waiting list and got called. After I talked to Dr. Lacy, I understood that the practice was with a group, and she was still training staff because there had been changes. I got the same good care from her. As a senior citizen, it isn't easy… to find new doctors. I will stay with Dr. Lacy as long as she'll have me.

I went in with the understanding that this was an OB/GYN office - I came in for a health concern. After an HOUR of waiting time, I was sent into my room and was asked some more questions (some of which were already in the initial paperwork I filled in when I arrived 15mins early). After about 25-30 of waiting in my room, the Nurse Practitioner comes in and tells me that they can't see me today because I'm pregnant... I was fuming by then. One of the front desk ladies said that my pregnancy wasn't on my referral paperwork...Except, it was, because I had the copy to prove it. If attention was paid to detail, they would've seen that crucial bit of information, and told me I wont be able to make the appointment. So I wasted an entire morning here, and now I have to find a real OBGYN office.

Dr Lacy has been my dr for 19 years. When I saw her low rating I was shocked and read the reviews. It is true that getting an appointment has been challenging at times. Sometimes her front office staff has seemed robotic. Dr Lacy and her PA are excellent! She called me herself, at night even, when results from some biopsy and lab work results were suspicious and explained options very clearly. When I scheduled last appointment, I did notice an improvement phone manners and when I went to my appointment, i was impressed with how quickly I was seen. Wonderful person and knowledgeable doctor!

The front office staff are horrendous. Completely unprofessional and lack basic common sense. My wife was scheduled for a hysterectomy and at 4:50 pm the night before my wife received a call from "Shelby" saying that the surgery had been canceled. She blamed our insurance company and recommended that we contact our insurance company to obtain "prior authorization." Isn't that YOUR job!!! We contacted the hospital and our insurance company and found out that "Shelby" dropped the ball and never submitted the authorization form. The hospital even contacted Dr.Laceys office the day before the cancellation to inform "Shelby" that the authorization still had not been completed. According to Shelby "Dr. Lacey was going to contact the insurance company herself to try to get it approved and would give us a call back. Still waiting for that call!!! Either, Shelby is a liar, Dr. Lacey doesn't care or they all are in it together!!! Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!

Dr. Lacy's front desk staff are very uncaring in regards to patients. They do not seem to follow up when it comes to lab results. Seems to me these young girls lack work ethic.

I waited 2 hours before finally being called back to exam area. Staff was rude and not helpful. Definitely will not be going back.

Excellent physician with exceptional surgical skills. She relates well to patients based on my experience.

The office staff needs to work on manners.

Dr. Lacy is a compassionate, nice, and excellent dr. I will reccomend her to any of my friends.
