Dr. Linda-Lee Myers, MD

Dr. Myers is alright, but her staff (Shelbie) are awful. Shelbie (who is not a doctor) once tried to diagnose me, suggested that I take off my sweater in the hallway making me pretty much naked to better take my blood pressure, AND called my emergency contact in a non-emergent situation and disclosed private health information about me without my authorization. On the best day Dr. Myers listens to me but she is generally distant and seems checked out. I DO NOT SUGGEST SEEKING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE FROM DR MYERS!

I was trying to establish a primary care physician in network. I came limping in with an MRI showing a bulging L5 with a tear. I had been suffering with this injury for 6 weeks. She wasted my time, (late 60 minutes), gave me a short 10 minute conference, offered nothing but advice to rest.. Seemed distant, unconcerned, and not helpful. $250. Completely lacking empathy.

Saw the doctor for the first time a few weeks ago. I needed a new primary. Her reviews were good. The thing I didn't expect is the cost of the initial visit. I have Medicare and a Medicare supplement and still had to pay over $300 out of pocket. I'm told going forward I shouldn't expect a supplemental charge, but we'll see.
