Dr. Linda Hershyuan Lin, MD

Had cataract surgery at Avery Eye Clinic back in Jan. Ever since the eye that had the surgery has been getting worse. It appears I am rapidly losing all sight in this eye. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Linn to get a second opinion. Had to wait two months in order to get the appointment all the while my eye getting worse. When my appointment came up two weeks ago I went to her office but didn't realize that I would have another $30 copay in order to see her. When her receptionist asked me for the $30 I realized that I had no cash on me and no credit cards either. Told her that if Dr. Linn would go ahead and see me because of my desperate situation (74 year old diabetic losing his sight) that I would send a check to her as soon as I got home. Receptionist informed me in front of other patients in the room that without the $30 Dr. Linn would not see me. Well that was the end of that. Now that I have found another doctor to evaluate me it will be another two months and I… will probably be blind by then.. It's really unfortunate that a doctor like this will let $30 destroy a person's eyesight. This woman is a disgrace to medicine and shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine.

What got of doctor is this person. A doctor who would standby and watch a p[patient blind over 30 I recommended to the Texas Medical Board that she lose her license to practice medicine
