Dr. Linda Ruth Ojo, MD

Ms. Ojo is a terrible physiatrist, I’m been taking Klonopin and Seroquel for insomnia for 8 years, I’m no 31 years old, I requested help to either stop this medication or to switch medication for something different not benzos in my first appointment she did not believe I had any issue and suggested that I was misdiagnose, mmm, I have seem several doctors and I trust them, my insomnia was terrible and they help me to survive the terrible breakdowns I had 8 years ago, she didn’t want to prescribe and put all kind of excuses, said that there’s no such a time as liquid Klonopin as one of my previous physiatrist suggested to tamper it off lowering the doses little by little, and that presentation could help as is easy to measure it with the glass dropper, she just recommend go to a sleep class Tuesday and Thursday, she has no idea what a benzo is and how dangerous is quitting cold turkey, I spent thousands of dollars in Kaiser last year and got no help from this Doctor, she is one of the… worst practitioners I have seen.

I’ve spent the last 2 months as Dr Ojo’s patient being treated for ADHD. I’ve taken stimulant meds for nearly 17yrs, so it’s not my first experience with taking this type of medication. My first impression was not good during my first visit, and I felt like she was not engaged or listening to what I was telling her. I should’ve trusted my gut and changed Dr’s, but I was hoping I was wrong. I’ve been in communication with her by email as she stated she “likes to communicate,” informing her of issues I’ve been having with dosage and questions about medication since I had a previous bad experience with the medication she prescribed. The first couple of weeks she seemed responsive but in the past few weeks as I began to have same symptoms I had previously, which are a major concern, she seems to be complacent, and even refused to refill my prescription when needed. I followed her instructions and increased my dosage so I ran out earlier than original refill date. Now I’m stuck with NO… medication for several days. I’ve called her, emailed her, trying to get a response as to what it is she’s wanting me to do, since I followed her instructions. I’m a healthcare professional, and her way of treating me as a patient is not acceptable. Stimulant medications can have serious side effects, and going on and off them is not good. I am disgusted that this person is a practicing Psychiatrist and allowed to prescribe medications such as the one I take. If I didn’t have education and training I have, I may not know the seriousness of it, but what about the patients who DO NOT have my background? It’s unacceptable. I will be changing Drs and pray that nobody else has to go thru what I have the past month with dosage increases, decreases, on and off medication. Reading the other reviews has bothered me even more because I’m not the only patient she’s mistreated.

I should have read these reviews before going to this doctor. I wouldn't have wasted my time, money, and effort reaching out for help if I had known this doctor was just going to play lab rat with me. Its wild to see someone else write a review explaining how they left feeling the exact same way as I did after seeing this doctor. Please just don't waste your time and go to someone more professional.

I am visited this doctor a month ago. This doctor put me in a way that just taken my time and my knowledge to a waist. I am very disappointed that just taken in advantage of being test wrongly as a mouse for. She could not have had enough knowledge to figure out. I am not recommending this doctor to any person expecting to see a doctor. very poor rating. Not recommended

Ik ben vanuit Nederland naar de VS gekomen en ben ontzet over de praktijken van deze arts. DO. NIET. ZIEN. HAAR. Ze heeft mijn eerste bezoek aan de artsen in de VS verschrikkelijk gemaakt. je zult er spijt van krijgen als je haar gaat bezoeken.

I can’t in good faith recommend this doctor to anybody. My experience with this doctor has turned me off of EVER going to another psychiatrist again. These people are meant to help you and that’s not AT ALL what this doctor did. If you value your mental well-being just pick a different doctor.

Dr. Linda R Ojo is hands down the most unprofessional "medical expert"(shes an ignoramus) I've ever had the misfortune of meeting with. Not only was she racist and condescending towards me but then proceeded to go out of her way to modify my medical records to put me in a bad light. I've been in touch with the CSR's at her office and with Kaiser Corporate and still, over a month later they have not done what they agreed to do about it (simply remove the asinine additions to my medical record). If you go to this doctor for mental health help she will literally try to flush your entire life's work down the drain (if you're not black). THIS DOCTOR HAS NO PLACE IN MEDICAL PRACTICE WITH A RACIST, CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE LIKE THAT. I would give zero stars if I could.
