Dr. Linda Ellen Range, MD

My family has been seeing Dr Range for years, she is a wonderful caring professional. She is very caring about the children and has wonderful follow up if there is any issue.

As we know, in today's age we're blessed with wonderful information available online via medical journals and other source docs just be forewarned that if you present your concerns over your child's latest ailment Dr. Range will immediately become argumentative/borderline hostile. It's unfortunate, twice now we've witnessed this where we brought one of our children in sick and her bedside manner just left us and our child feeling worse. There's simply no free flowing information exchange.

This so-called "doctor" is the worst that I've ever come across and its appalling that she works in pediatrics. At our first visit with her, she LIED to me about breastfeeding not having any benefits for my baby. She also LIED to me when I asked to see the vaccine package inserts and told me I could not see them. She then proceeded to bully me as an attempt to inject my 2 month old with 8(!) vaccines when I explicitly and repeatedly told her I wanted to delay them and find out more about the specific vaccines she wanted to administer. She could not answer ANY of my questions regarding any of the vaccines, even as simple as who manufactured what or even one single ingredient. When I asked her opinion on the fact that all of the manufacturers have been sued for falsifying test results, she (again) responded "I don't know" and quickly ran out of the room, never to return. We were privileged enough (sarcasm) to get stuck with her for my baby's 9 month appt. We had to wait 45 mins after the… nurse had taken all the measurements before she graced us with her presence. She was incredibly rude and condescending the whole time, but really kicked it in to high gear when I requested to see the inserts, she asked me " Are you sure you will be able to understand it?" Guess what, it's your job as a doctor to be able to explain those sort of things to me if I have any questions and if you're so much smarter than me that shouldn't be an issue for you. If a doctor feels strongly about certain issues, they should be able to calmly and intelligently educate parents without insults. But the condescension is just a cover for her ignorance and incompetence. She danced around issues and ran out of the room twice (the second time while my husband was mid-sentence), but not before admitting that she only became a doctor to make money. I wouldn't trust this poor-excuse-for-a-doctor if she was the last one alive. IMHO she is a danger to children and families and should be avoided at all costs.
