Personable and knowledgeable doctor. Great care. Wonderful office staff too.

I recommend Dr. Ray she is a wonderful Dr. she take the time with you to find every possible way to keep you healthy . I been a patience over 18 years with her twice in my life she her decision for me saved my life . Both times if it had not been for her quick thinking I could have died. Her nurse and staff is the best.

Rude, doesn't listen, rarely available in the office,

She would be better if she practiced better bedside manner. She never seems too bothered when I express a concern and has even ignored me on purpose when telling her about a problem I've been having. Like another person said, she goes on and on about health care issues and never spends enough time asking the patient questions (in a concerned, caring way). She has an attitude and air about her that makes it seem like she's not taking you seriously or thinks you're overreacting/being a hypochondriac (when you really have a problem). She also has the nerve to straightforward call people fat. While a person might indeed be overweight, this is NO way to handle a patient who might have confidence and psychological issues related to obesity. This leaves patients feeling worse, invalidated and lost. She's very intimidating and cold as well. This is bad because some people have problems speaking up during doctor visits.

The Nurse sets the appointment for 8:45 am when Dr. Ray actually arrives an hour later due to walking her dogs. And when Dr. Ray arrives she is very mouthy and moody about politics (healthcare issues) and never allows the patient to explain the reason for the visit. Dr. Ray sends you around the world to see specialist, that don't even apply to the problem you're actually seeing her for which causes out of pocket expenses. Dr. Ray needs to treat her staff with respect. Dr. Ray needs to remain from talking down to her patients and realize that not all of her patients are government assisted and do have healthcare benefits.

Dr. Ray seems to be competent is diagnosing, but her bedside manner is cold, arrogant, and intimidating. She even ridiculed me - laughed in my face - when I expressed concern for the result of some previous surgery. I have found a different doctor and suggest that you do also.

She is an outstanding doctor and person. She gives her all to her patients and displays a great deal of humility which is in short supply in the Beaumont area among doctors.
