Dr. Linda E Tepper, MD

If I could give 0 stars I would. My appointment with Dr. Tepper was one of the worst encounters with a doctor I have ever experienced. She came in, I started talking and she cut me off to ask her own questions. She was so rushed and so nasty. I told her I do not want to take more meds for some back pain (my body my choice), and it was reaction was so rude. I mentioned I wanted to look into anti-inflammatory supplements like turmeric and she said there have been no studies done on turmeric. 2 second Google award has showed all the studies ever done. She didn’t listen at all and made me feel so rushed. I had initially said I had a lot to go over and she got up to leave after the few minutes she spent with me. I did get a physical exam, so maybe a few more minutes, but the time she spent listening to my concerns was very limited. She also got very impatient as I was answering questions. I’m overwhelmed, she saw I was on 1mg of klonopin- my cognition was fuzzy. She was so snippy when my… answers were just me trying my best to form a health history in my mind of symptoms and what I’ve noticed. Absolutely horrible doctor who need s to work on her bedside manor. I left my appointment and cried because I realized I didn’t go over everything I needed to go over because I felt so rushed.

Saw her once, rude visit rushed. Will not see her ahain

I saw Dr. Tepper for years and had very few positive visits with her. She was extremely condescending and dismissive of any concerns I brought up. And the issues she did acknowledge she would not even provide serious solutions for. I honestly could not even recommend Dr. Tepper for a simply visit, there's no reason to see a Dr. who will be rude and disrespectful to you when there are plenty of other options.

Dr. Tepper actually takes the time to speak with her patients instead of just rushing them in and out. She is also very personable and thorough.

i was extremely disappointed with Dr. Tepper. She definitely seemed disinterested and I was a new patient. There was no follow up with any test results. I went for a second visit, saw someone who was covering for her but the experience was the same. I was called by the nurse regarding results from an ultrasound and asked to speak to the doctor as I was still in pain. The doctor never called. I ended up going to another physician. I would not recommend Dr. Tepper, nor do I plan to go back to her office.

I've been going to Dr. Tepper for about 15 years and have had no problem. She has always been courteous, attentive and professional, and has never had a problem answering my questions. She is very good with follow-ups and will always get back to you if you leave a message. I would highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr. Tepper for many years now, and would never change. Yes, she does spend a lot of time typing now, but that is because of the system ProHealth has in place. I know that she is listening to me because she asks followup questions when I do state something. She remembers me from one visit to the next, and sometimes I go 9 months without a visit. Follow up phonecalls with test results are always prompt, as are return calls when I have a question. Her staff is very efficient, as is all of ProHealth.

She walked in to her personal office shook my hand and sat behind her desk off to the side asking an hour worth of question on my medical history (really an hour) and typed the entire time not once looking up at me. She left little room for me to ask any questions and appeared frustrated when stopped her flow of questioning as well as put off when I didnt answer questions with short answers. The only time she stopped writing was the two times her computer froze. I was then brougt to the exam room only to be asked more questions by her assistant who actually had a heart. When the assistant was finished I said am I going to get to talk to the doctor and she said she will be right in. Dr Tepper came in and again sat at the computer in the exam room and typed while I answered question. At one point I got off the exam table to sit next to her when she typed and I was told by her that I really need to sit on the exam table because she still has to do the exam with me. Talk about a… disconnected doctor, holy smokes by this point I was undone. She did examine me for about 5 minutes, I got 5 referals to which I refused. Dr Tepper lacks communication skill and prefers to engage the computer than the patient in her presence. She is an excellent doctor for diagnosis but I for one need more than that I need a doctor with good communication skills that does maintain some sort of eye contact and conversation. I am sure she is the right fit for many but not for me.

The Dr. prefers spending time with the computer than the patient. Also, she repeats the same historical questions on each visit which is not going to change even if she asks million times. Should spend time finding out about the current problem and how to resolve by prescribing the relevant tests.
