Dr. Linda Van Le

Rude, arrogant, and tired doctor. I hope one day she would be treated the way she treats other.

I am very happy with my first visit not because my prognosis of cancer seemed to be at bay but for the time Dr. Linda Van Le took and went through my family history. She made me feel at ease with letting me know she read my chart/records night before appointment and took her time with my examination. I felt she even went further on doing more due diligence on sending my chart to the genetics for further information. I have had to move a lot because of my husbands work and always getting with a new doctor is very weary on me... don’t be concerned if you see Dr. Linda. To me her bedside manner was a awesome, I was a little concerned at first because of the treatment of the nurse being a little brass, but you never know what kind of day a person had when you saw them. So my concern was relieved after actually meeting the doc and having her examine me. Very pleased. If you have any oncology needs I’d recommend UNC REX CANCER CENTER. After having been successfully treated for breast and ovarian cancer (I dealt with both, simultaneously) at another facility that was sold, my oncology team moved on. Naturally, I was upset and anxious about having to find new oncologists and establish trust and new relationships with a new medical team. I did considerable research and received recommendations from people I respect. I was very fortunate to have contacted Dr. Van Le’s office to set up a consultation. I am happy I say that I have been a patient of Dr. Van Le for the past three years. Having had two types of cancer, It is a miracle that I am alive and well. I am truly grateful and appreciate every day, and I know that am blessed to have a great medical team! Dr. Van Le is a kind, caring, personable, dedicated, knowledgeable professional. She and her staff are friendly, warm, and comforting; they take time to get to know their patients, listen to concerns, and attend to the physical and emotional needs of their patients! … If you or someone you love needs a gynecological oncologist, I highly recommend Dr. Van Le and her staff!

After being diagnosed with endometrial cancer I shopped around for the place where I thought I would receive the best care. I was blessed to find Dr. Van Le and her staff. From the beginning I felt confident in their abilities and that I was in the right place. I was so impressed with everyone I came into contact with, especially for the efficiency. I have done even better than I expected to and I will continue traveling the several hours for my check ups as long as I need to. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Le, who I found to possess exactly the personality that made me feel most confident, friendly but efficient and professional.

My daughter currently sees a female Dr. at UNC for her condition and I'm just thanking God it is not Dr. Van Le. She is probably one of the rudest Drs. I have ever met. She throws her Dr. image around like its going to get her further in life and I am not a fan of those types of Drs. How she is on the UNC team I will never know...esp, specializing in oncology.

I loved Dr. VanLe! As with most patients, it was a difficult and challenging time in my life when I needed her services. She was thorough, competent and knowledgeable about my options and the rates of sucess. Dr. VanLe and my primary care physician has reviewed my case and she had a great understanding of my current situation as well as my history. I would recommned her highly to anyone who needed these services. I am thnakful that my doctor chose her for my care!

It was a terrifying time in my life when I was diagnosed with cancer. To have someone so cold and uncaring approach me with my surgical options really hurt. With this doctor, I felt as if I was not being listened to at all. Radical surgery was firmly suggested at me, but in the end I decided not to do it. I am so incredibly glad that I sought treatment elsewhere.
