Dr. Linda Rona Wang Lam, DDS

Elderly woman living on a fixed income referred from Empire Dental Plan told she would receive a free consult. At the consult (required $455 paid for x-rays) told that over tens of thousands of $ of repairs for multiple dental issues were required. Questioned if repairs were necessary since had faithfully been examined by dentist in the past 38 years, 2X year, when having teeth cleaned. Astounded to pay total $2,479 just to have one tooth extracted without a post-op visit being done. Was in great discomfort, only tolerating soft diet, having pain with hot and cold foods. Numerous calls made to office without support, waiting 1 ½ months for sutures to dissolve. When called for an appointment for the implant, Alyssa refused to make appointment until all of expensive work is completed on the remainder of mouth. Refused to allow patient to speak to Dr. Lam or pass on the message to her. Alyssa said that she was “not refusing care, but that patient was not compliant with plan.
