Very unsympathetic, rushed thru appts ..she treated me like I was worthless

I have seen her for years, followed her actually she has moved several times I wish she had a very bright person at the front desk at all times that filled you with confidence. She is kind, by the book. Stern but a caring person, she just isn't emotional. That's a good thing! She is not touchy-feely but a compassionate Person and DR.

she had zero empathy, sympathy, and just wanted to count pills. she was mean, cruel, and i left crying pretty much every appt. i do not recommend her AT ALL. and her (ex i assume) husband larry poiret was even WORSE if that was even possible ! i should have known with all those military framed boasts on their reception walls. AND I HAD STAGE 4 CANCER !!!! i actually cannot believe she is still practicing medicine. i truly pity her patients. there must be an alternative for them - dr li ?

I have been a patent of Dr. Wolbers for many years. I have read all the 1-star reviews and can honestly say they are incorrect. Dr. Wolbers has always been courteous and thoughtful. She is NOT a "Dr. Happy" and I think that has a lot to do with the negative nonsense. I have seen her for at least 10 years, she has been through and accurate. I highly recommend Dr. Wolbers.

I have never seen this provider yet can give one star. these rating systems are detrimental

I find the group at the Pain Clinic outstanding. I really don't understand the bad reviews here. They "play by the book" and you need to follow instructions but that is not a bad thing. If you are looking for a quick Dr. Happy, this is not it, maybe that is the issue others had?

Just the 26 pages of paper work and the fact that they treat you like a criminal to see the doctor should be enough. This doctor doesn't know how to do a basic back exam or even correctly read an MRI. Really poor service all around. Thank goodness I have options in my healthcare. If you have options and want skilled care, don't choose this clinic. I am shocked they are still in business!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE "DOCTORS". and now they offer psychological counseling? is this a sick joke? first, she sneers, then, she is condescending, rude, and mean. how could she possibly offer any help when she and her spouse are the reason we are so traumatized.? she is just a pill counter, and not a good one at that. she shrieked at me, accusing me of using one weeks more of meds, then, she over prescribes methadone -- giving me literally hundreds and hundreds more than she should have, (after she got me hooked on them) -. there is no way i used up a whole week more because i had a specific daily number and i NEVER exceeded that number. NEVER. her spouse yelled and yelled at me, too. once, i begged her to look at my horribly painful condition, so she could see first hand the kind of extreme pain i was in, and she refused, saying (i kid you not !!!!) " I CANNOT SEE PAIN" - this, from A "PAIN SPECIALIST" ???? !!! both she and her husband have the worst bedside manners i have ever had… the misfortune to have to cope with. how these 2 people can sleep at night is a mystery to me. they caused me so much more unnecessary pain and anguish than i deserved, being so gravely ill with STAGE 4 CANCER !!! i would only recommend this "pain clinic" to my worst enemy -- i thank god every day i have the wonderful ob/gyn oncologist i have now, so i do not ever have to go to these 2 charlatans ever again. you would be better off getting your pain meds from the internet or the beach flats and self medicating yourself. enter this place at your own risk. and i bet i am not the only person they have treated so horribly. i wonder how many others they have psychologically scarred, and mentally abused. i sure would love to know how many of us there are. i could go on and on , listing more of their cruelties, but must stop and try to get my blood pressure down to somewhat normal. it's just that these are the worst doctors i have ever had the misfortune to have personal contact with.WARNING: all those military diplomas speaks volumes--i am surprised i wasn't simply given a chunk of wood to bite down on. i should have known better - i should have listened to my gut. i thank god every day that i do not have to see them ever again. she is extremely disrespectful, has a rotten bedside manner, and i truly believe she and her husband harmed me and made me even more ill than i was.. if i could rate them even lower than poor i would. i would give them a negative 1 thousand on a scale of 1 - 10. they are HORRIBLE, DREADFUL ,MEAN AND CRUEL AND HAVE NO BUSINESS BEING PAIN "SPECIALISTS" if i have helped even one person with this review i would be so happy. but, in the end, i only have myself to blame, because i did not listen to my gut feeling. i will never do that again. and, after all the cancer treatment i went thru at stanford, i have definitely learned volumes and i will never put myself in the position to have to deal with rotten sadistic doctors like dr. poree and wolbers ever again.
