I had one of the most disturbing and traumatic experiences of my life under the care of this doctor at Memorial Hermann Katy. I was hospitalized with a perforated bowel and was already on an antibiotic that I was responding well to. Without any meaningful explanation or medical necessity, this doctor changed my antibiotic, and the new medication caused severe, debilitating side effects that made me incredibly sick. When I questioned why my medication was changed despite clear improvement, she gave me an absurd and dismissive excuse about how there is a “certain type of bacteria on this side of town” that supposedly responds better to the new drug. That explanation made no sense, especially given that I was already improving. Even worse, when the new medication caused serious side effects, she did not care at all. She was cold, rude, and completely unprofessional. She interrupted me, talked over me, and acted visibly irritated that I was upset—despite the fact that I was suffering,… crying, and clearly unwell. She showed zero empathy and no concern for the harm her decision caused. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a patient in pain. Without question, this was the most uncaring, dismissive, and arrogant physician I have ever encountered. Her behavior made an already frightening hospitalization far worse. If you are admitted to Memorial Hermann Katy and are assigned this doctor, insist on another physician immediately. No patient deserves to be treated with such indifference, disrespect, and lack of compassion—especially while seriously ill. I would never trust this doctor with my care again, and I strongly warn others to avoid her if at all possible.

You might as well take your money and throw it out the window. At three hundred bucks a pop she spend about five minutes with me.I came with test results and letters from several doctors saying I needed treatment for my uti’s that were turning into severe kidney infections. She asked me if I smoked. When I said no she launched into a long lecture about smoking(huh?) She breezed over my test results and then laughed and said I don’t know why you would think I would treat this. She asked if I had any doctor’s letters about this. I said yes and handed her several letters. She started to look at one and then went on a tear about how she didn’t like the testing that was used. She then handed my papers back and said to get records sent over from previous doctors. The receptionist at the front desk did not understand English very well and I did not appreciate having to very loudly relay personal information to her repeatedly.

She took her time taking My history then did thorough exam explained to me what I had Answered my questions then explained treatment and. follow up Very friendly office staff too

Although nice and professional, I do not recommend going to her if you have or think you have chronic Lyme. Just like one of the other conments, she never examined me and gave me a 30 minute talk about the history of Lyme, all of which I have researched and know. She does not believe in chronic Lyme and said that the chronic Lyme model makes her so mad because it gives people false hope. She also said that there are not a lot of ticks in Texas and Lyme is rare here. Again, she is very nice and professional, but I recommend you see a LLD for acute or chronic Lyme.

Too early to tell if treatment will be successful long term. Treatment is horrible in that the medications are VERY strong and make you sick to your stomach.

This doctor represents herself as a doctor who will treat chronic Lyme disease. She doesn't. She will bill for a "consult", only to lecture you about how Lyme disease doesn't exist in Texas and that chronic Lyme disease doesn't exist at all. She never so much as offered to examine me. She needs to educate herself further in Lyme disease before giving such "advice". Fortunately, a bill was passed in the state of Texas to educate doctors, such as herself.
