Dr. Linda Marian Yarris-Ewert, MD

This Doctor takes no responsibilities with giving out addictive medications. I do not know if it is to keep her patients "happy" but who is happy when they are 80 and cannot live without their pills. Stay away there are better.

I made a new patient appointment for Dr. Yarris-Ewert to become my primary physician due to a recommendation and so I had a physical completed with her. She gave me a prescription for blood work. I have not had a physical done in years and have never been given a prescription for blood work before. I asked the office where I should go to get the blood work done. They gave me a pamphlet for Quest and Lab Corp and told me to go to either one. I chose Quest. 4 weeks later I received my bill from Quest for $900. My insurance denied the claim stating that they only accept lab draws from a Lee Health System hospital. I feel that this office mislead me by pointing me to the wrong direction. They are facilitated with Lee Health employees and they should know how the Lee Health system insurance works. Needless to say I feel very upset and I can no longer trust this office again. I will be dropping them and plan on never recommending them.

Dr. Yarris Ewert has been my doctor and the doctor for my entire family for years. I trust her with her decisions and respect her professional opinion to the utmost. In 10 years as my primary care physician, I have never left her office without all my questions answered. She requests tests that are needed and not those that are not. I consider her one of the best.
