Dr. Lindsay Chong, MD

If I could rate this doctor a zero stars I would. Extremely unprofessional and a very poor reflection of the John Muir organization, the Endocrinology specialty and MDs overall. She is not an expert in her field as she would like to believe, has horrible bed side manner and will leave you with an extremely bad taste in your mouth.

My experience with Lindsay Chong, MD, 2700 Grant St STE 200, Concord, was riddled with unprofessionalism and condescension. From the outset, she projected judgment and dismissed the purpose of my appointment, abruptly ending future follow-ups. The entire ordeal felt more like a comedy sketch than a genuine medical appointment, making it challenging to take her seriously. As I conveyed during the appointment, it was a complete waste of time. Her persistent and seemingly calculated approach gave off the impression of someone trying to appear clever, but it ultimately fell flat. This added layer of discomfort only reinforces my advice to steer clear of her services. I join other reviewers in strongly advising against seeking her services. She stands out as one of the worst, if not the worst, physicians I have encountered

I have been going to Dr. Chong for 7 years and in that time she has been the best. She listens to me. She is genuinely concerned about my wellbeing and recommends many things to help me with my diabetes and the staff is extra nice and helpful too. I have never had an issue with her. The nicest person you will ever meet.

Wow. The receptionist on the phone with me (scheduling my appointment) was WAY too invasive. Felt like I was being tested and asked to prove OVER THE PHONE exactly why I needed to see an endocrinologist, despite having a referral. This receptionist went really really in depth into my medical history. Talked down to me, was very condescending. Then I read reviews of the doctor at the office—of course the receptionist sucks. This doctor sounds cold and awful and rude af. Nope!!
