Dr. Lindsay Marie Cunningham, DO

Would not answer my questions, lied to me about several things. Snooty, rude worse doctor I have ever gone too. She asked me why do I want to be sick?

I've been a patient nearly 2 years, always seen in a timely manner, but she is never made me feel rushed when it is my turn. Very knowledgeable but explains in layman's terms. She has double checked every test that previous doctors have done rather than just taking their notes for granted, then proceeded to explore even more avenues to make sure I was getting the best treatment she could give. She describes herself as loving to solve riddles and puzzles.

She is condescending, dismissive and doesn't listen to what I am saying. She exhibits evidence of age and BMI discrimination.

I saw Dr Cunningham 3 times. After the first time, I did not want to return, however, it takes so long to get in as a new patient elsewhere, I figured I would give it another shot. The second time was not much better, but got started on some medication. At this point I decided to try the medication while waiting on a new referral. I had an unpleasant side effect from the medication, so returned to her office while still waiting for an appointment at the new doctor. The third visit is DEFINITELY the last at this office. Dr Cunningham may or may not know rheumatology, but has the worst bedside manner in the history of ever! She is condescending, rude, wont listen to anything you have to say, talks over you and does not explain.

She is very detailed in her work and explains things extremely well. After a couple years of struggling to find out what was wrong she is really amazing. I’m really glad to have her overseeing my treatment.

I saw her for the first time and she did a great work up. I had a book of my history and pictures all ready for my appointment and that didn’t matter. She only based my diagnosis on her questions. Nothing I had to say changed anything. I left there feeling more frustrated than before. She told me that if I was a happier person that my symptoms would go away. That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. I’m not unhappy or depressed. I just have medical issues that I’m obviously trying to resolve. Would not recommend her.

5 stars for a thorough workup. 1 star for professionalism. Having RA for 20 years, I'm not inexperienced with Rheumatologist. Given her personality, I'm surprised that she chose Rheumatology as a specialty.

I seen Dr. C as a new patient. During the visit I explained to her why I was there. She not only interrupted me serval times but at one point laughed at me bc I said that I thought 2 of my symptoms were somehow triggered by one another. Also, during my visit I told her I'd like her to do tests that day and her response to me was "My tests don't mean anything. My husband laughs at me all the time because I tell him my tests don't mean anything".At that moment I knew I didn't want her as a doctor.

Dr C was great at first. Then....I had a painful/bad reaction to an Rx she prescribed. I called about the reaction, on a Friday morning, got machine. Got message back from her nurse just before closing saying "Dr C does not think this is from the Rx, go to urgent care or see your primary care doctor, I'll call you Monday." WHAT? not from the Rx? Gimme a break. (guess what....I stopped the med and the symptoms ceased. I did not go to urgent care or a primary...that was ridiculous. This was not my first RA Rodeo.) The Monday follow up call NEVER came. I have NEVER heard from them again. Another Tulsa Bone & Joint doctor (that I love), as well as the TB&J physician/patient liaison suggested I give Dr C another try; reluctantly, I personally went to Dr C's office to discuss that....the receptionist was nice initially, then after talking to Dr C's nurse returned very defensive, rudely doubting my side of the story, saying the notations in my file say otherwise.....HUH? (why… would I make that up? does it kinda/sorta seems someone might have been covering for their sweet selves?) That dear friends, is THAT. I left very disappointed, livid, stressed (NOT good for RA) and never to return, wishing it were otherwise.

She over talks and interrupts me every visit. my last visit was the worst. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. She is very unprofessional
